What is pub-crawling?
Pub-crawling is an event organized by an authorized guide who will take to the best pubs in the city. It is the best way to meet a lot of people and make some good friends. This is the perfect way to experience the amazing nightlife and join the crowd in the madness. This was the best thing we did in Madrid and it is highly recommended.Whom did we choose?
We pub crawled with Madride Travel. You will be given 1 hour in each pub and all the pubs are walkable distance.Packages and prices

If you don’t opt for pub crawling and decide to visit each pub on your own, then entry prices will be levied up to 10€ for each pub and the drinks would be not be offered at a discounted price. More info is available on the madride official website. The crawl begins…..
The pub-crawling starts at 22.30 and the meeting point is Puerta del Sol square near the Bear Statue. The guide will be wearing a red T-shirt with a yellow board in hand. He might wait for a few extra minutes but it is better to reach on time. During our visit, there was a concert being held in the Puerta del Sol Square. Since the entry was restricted and we could not reach the location on time. So we called the guide and he instructed us to come to the first pub directly.1st pub
We opted for package 2 and made the payment of 16€ to the guide and he tied bands to our hand. This band your main identification for the entire pub-crawl. The first pub’s music was great and it was flooded with both tourists and localites.Unlimited drinks
The sangria was not great but the beer was good. We enjoyed drinking and dancing to the Spanish songs. It was delightful. It is for 1 hour in each pub. Since it was the start-point of the crawl, it took a while for people to gather. We were here for 1.5 hours.2nd pub
At 12.00, we headed to another pub which was just 2 mins away. Before entering, the guide briefed us about the pub and what all it had to offer. They gave a free shot voucher and the other drinks were offered at a reduced price only for us.Theme
The theme of the second pub was ‘Glow’. Everyone including the DJ and the bartender were glowing. When we entered, people were partying and we made our way through the sea of humans to find the right spot to dance. The music was at its best with different genres and in all possible languages. We were sweating and tired of dancing. As time passed, people were entering the pub endlessly and at one point it there was no place to even stand. It became hard to breath as there was no good ventilation, so we came out to grasp some fresh air.3rd pub
At 1.00 we went to the 3rd pub. As usual, the guide gave us instructions and handed out our free shot vouchers. This pub was much bigger than the 2nd one and the ambience was also great. The interiors resembled a palace and the crockeries were also unique. Spanish music was great. The Despacito song was played with different tunes and was fused with various English songs. It was nice to hear the famous Spanish song in Spain. 😀 It was 2.00 am, we had another pub left. We did not join because of fatigue. It was unbelievable to see the nightlife in Spain and the Spanish know how to party right. Even at 2.00 am the streets were full of life and lots of people were enjoying and singing in the street, many restaurants and shops were open. It was truly different in contrast with Germany where the city sleeps at 22.30. This is a must-do activity if you visit Madrid. Cheers..!
