What is pub-crawling?
Pub-crawling is an event organized by an authorized guide who will take to the best pubs in the city. It is the best way to meet a lot of people and make some good friends.
This is the perfect way to experience the amazing nightlife and join the crowd in the madness. This was the best thing we did in Belgrade and it is highly recommended.
Whom did we choose?
We pub crawled with Belgrade Pub Crawl. You can find them on the internet under the name “Belgrade Walking Tours“. They have many activities for the tourist. Everything you need to know is available on the belgradewalkingtour website.
Packages and prices
1€ ~ 117 Serbian Dinar(RSD).
The crawl costs 10€ per person. It includes a welcome drink and 1 drink of your choice in all the for pubs.
They do not offer any specific packages but they do conduct private pub crawls for a group of up to 10 people. You can get in touch with them.
Meeting point
The meeting point is at the Republic Square in front of the Boutique restaurant at 21.00. Just lookout for something yellow. The event is only on Fridays and Saturdays.
Our host gave a small introduction about the historic Republic square and offered a shot of homemade Rakija. Rakija is a Balkan region’s national alcoholic drink made from apples, pears, and plum. The alcohol content varies between 40%-90%. It is a must-try drink when in Serbia.
The crawl begins……
We gathered at the Republic Square at 21.00 hrs. We were 8 people from different parts of the world; Canada, Austria, Peru, and India ready to enjoy the amazing Belgrade nightlife.
1st pub
The name of the first pub is ROCKET. It is a small pub and the atmosphere inside was Lit with a live singing performance. We enjoyed it for almost 1.5 hours and not even once we looked at the watch. It was a great start for our crawl.
They offered a Rakija shoot to start with and we could choose between beer, wine(red or white) and a rakija cocktail. Just to add, they offer free water along with each drink and this culture in Serbia is very good.
2nd pub
The name is 0.5 bar and pub. It was an underground disco and the DJ was playing party and EDM music. At this point, I concluded, “Belgrade nightlife is the best.”
Again we had a Rakija shot and all of them chose a glass of wine as the complimentary drink. We enjoyed grooving to the music. After some time I felt that the music was very loud and it became a little uncomfortable. It was 23.45 and we hopped to the 3rd pub.
3rd pub
The 3rd one was our host’s favorite pub, located on the backside of the Republic Square. There was a band singing Serbian songs and their music is similar to Arabic.
The crowd went mad and it was overwhelming to see the madness. We all enjoyed a glass of wine while dancing to music.
4th club
It was 1.00 when we entered our last club. The host dropped us off at the 4th club and bid goodbye. The entry to the club was sponsored by Belgrade Pub Crawl. So no free drinks at this place.
We all went inside and started dancing. Yes..!! There was a dance floor just like in Madrid’s PubCrawl. We were drunk and had the night of our life. We all left the place at 2.00 am.
My experience
“Woow” is the word. It was a great pub crawl in Belgrade. The host was very experienced and knew what she was doing. Everything was perfect; the host, the pubs, fellow crawlers in contrast with Bulgaria pub crawl. This is a must-do activity.
Happy crawling in Belgrade..!
