Your step by step guide to obtain Turkish eVisa for Indians

Indian passport holders are eligible for eVisa if they have a valid visa or residence permit from the US, UK, Ireland or any one of the 26 Schengen countries.  Turkish eVisa is one of the easiest visas to obtain. So visiting Turkey as a tourist can’t get any better.  The eVisa process involves three simple sections

Turkish eVisa: Step by step procedure for Indian nationals

1. Logging into Turkish official website

Visit the Republic of Turkey’s official website.

Now click Apply now at the top.

2. Select your nationality

• • Enter your nationality as India
  • Select travel document as Ordinary passport

3. Enter the date of travel

Once your travel tickets are booked, give your date of arrival in Turkey. 

Note: Your stay can’t exceed 30 days as a tourist. The visa fee for Indian nationals is 43 USD or 3000 INR. This fee completely depends on nationality. 

4. Check all the required travel docs

This step involves a checklist of all necessary documents. Make sure that you suit all the requirements. Be ready to present all proofs during immigration. Note: You can proceed only if all points are ticked

5. Enter personal details

Enter the particulars carefully as per your travel documents.

Note: Any data given wrong can’t be changed later. There is no refund and a new application has to be made once again. After completion, hit the VERIFY button.

6. Click the link & confirm with email

You get a message saying ‘Your application has been successfully completed’. Go to your registered mail id, click the link and confirm. It again redirects to the payment portal

7. Pay amount

An extra 1.5 USD adds to 43 USD as a service fee. Book using any of the mentioned cards and complete transaction

8. Download eVisa

Congratulations! Your visa is ready

You can now download your eVisa to Turkey. Alternatively, the visa is available in your mail also. Enjoy your stay in Turkey.

Travel health insurance

Visitors of Turkey require International travel health insurance. This can be downloaded from Barmenia Reiseversicherung for about 4.2€ or 300 INR. Just enter your travel dates, particulars, pay money and download online. The process takes hardly 10 minutes.
